Welcome to the Next Generation Workforce (NGW) mentorship program! As an esteemed instructor, your role is crucial in helping us identify exceptional students who will benefit most from our program. NGW is committed to shaping the future of the visual effects industry by matching talented students with some of the most respected mentors in the field.  All mentorships are offered at no cost to students and our mentors are volunteering their time.  We seek to collaborate with you to find students who demonstrate exceptional potential and a passion for growth.

Our program is designed to support students in developing the skills, knowledge, and professional demeanor necessary to excel in the competitive world of visual effects. By connecting students with industry veterans, we aim to provide guidance that extends beyond technical skills, fostering professional relationships that can impact their careers for years to come.

What we’re looking for.

We invite you to refer your top students—those who stand out not only for their technical abilities but also for their dedication, enthusiasm, and unique qualities. The ideal candidates for NGW are those who are prepared to engage deeply with their mentors and are ready to tackle high expectations and rigorous challenges. We seek individuals who are driven, proactive, and eager to make the most of the mentorship experience.  Students with experience in AI or an interest in machine learning are of particular interest to us during the current enrollment cycle. 

Selected mentees will have the opportunity to:

  • Engage in meaningful, one-on-one mentorship sessions with some of the most esteemed professionals in the creative industry.

  • Receive personalized feedback on their work, including reel reviews and career advice.

  • Develop essential professional skills and gain insights into industry best practices.

  • Expand their professional network through connections made during the program.
