Active Engagement: Mentors should engage actively with the mentee to help them identify their strengths, weaknesses, and passions. They should assist the mentee in setting and achieving realistic and attainable goals, helping to clarify their career path and work toward meaningful milestones.
Understanding and Support: Mentors are expected to understand and value the mentee’s personal and career interests.
